Panaji: Rated among the top 10 music festivals of India, the 37th edition of the Surashree Kersarbai Kerkar Sangeet Samaroha will be organized by Kala Academy, Panaji, from November 3 to 5. Kala Academy chairman and minister for art and culture Govind Gaude will inaugurate the festival at 5.45pm on November 3 at Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Kala Academy. A symposium on ‘Future of Indian Classical Music’ will be held as a curtain rasier from 10.30am-1.30pm on November 3 at the Black Box with music experts Arawind Thatte, Shashank Maktedar and Chaitanya Kunte in participation.
